Classic Creamy Rice Pudding

  • ½ cup OG Foods Cream of Rice
  • 2 cups milk or plant-based milk
  • 1–2 tbsp maple syrup or honey
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

 

 

 

 

  1. In a saucepan, bring milk to a gentle simmer over medium heat.
  2. Slowly whisk in the Cream of Rice to prevent clumping.
  3. Reduce heat to low and cook for 5–7 minutes, stirring frequently, until thick and creamy.
  4. Stir in sweetener, cinnamon, vanilla, and salt.
  5. Serve warm or chilled. Top with fruit if desired.


2. Protein Power Porridge

Serves: 1

 

Time: 8–10 minutes

Ingredients

 

 

  • ½ cup OG Foods Cream of Rice
  • 1½ cups water or milk
  • 1 scoop protein powder
  • 1 tbsp nut butter (optional)
  • Fruit or toppings of choice

Instructions

 

 

  1. Bring water or milk to a simmer.
  2. Whisk in Cream of Rice and cook for 5–6 minutes until smooth.
  3. Remove from heat and let cool for 1 minute.
  4. Stir in protein powder until fully mixed.
  5. Add nut butter and toppings. Serve immediately.

 

3. Savory Breakfast Bowl


Serves: 1

Time: 10–12 minutes

Ingredients

 

 

  • ½ cup OG Foods Cream of Rice
  • 2 cups vegetable broth
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Sautéed vegetables (spinach, mushrooms, peppers)
  • Optional: egg, avocado, or tofu

  1. Heat vegetable broth in a saucepan until simmering.
  2. Whisk in Cream of Rice and reduce heat to low.
  3. Cook for 6–8 minutes, stirring often, until thick.
  4. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. Transfer to a bowl and top with vegetables and protein of choice.

 

4. Rice Flour Cookies


Makes: 10–12 cookies

Time: 20 minutes

Ingredients

 

 

  • 1 cup OG Foods Cream of Rice
  • ½ cup almond flour (or oat flour)
  • ¼ cup coconut oil, melted
  • ¼ cup maple syrup or honey
  • 1 egg
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • ¼ cup chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

 

 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix wet ingredients together.
  3. Add dry ingredients and stir until dough forms.
  4. Scoop dough onto a lined baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 10–12 minutes until lightly golden.
  6. Cool before serving.

 

5. No-Bake Energy Bars / Bites


Makes: 8 bars or 12 bites

Time: 10 minutes (+ chill time)

Ingredients

 

 

  • 1 cup OG Foods Cream of Rice
  • ½ cup nut butter
  • ¼ cup honey or maple syrup
  • ¼ cup dried fruit
  • 1 tbsp chia or flax seeds

Instructions

 

 

  1. Mix all ingredients in a bowl until well combined.
  2. Press mixture into a lined pan or roll into bite-sized balls.
  3. Refrigerate for 30 minutes to set.
  4. Slice into bars or store as bites.

  2. Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat.
  3. Pour small amounts of batter into the pan.
  4. Cook 2–3 minutes per side until golden.
